With the rapid development of e-commerce, the efficiency and accuracy of logistics delivery have become critical factors in determining customer satisfaction. This study focuses on comparing the logistics performance of drop shopping platforms with traditional e-commerce platforms, emphasizing delivery timeliness and accuracy.
Data was collected from 20 drop shopping platforms and 20 traditional e-commerce platforms over a period of six months. The study analyzed three key metrics: delivery time, error rate in orders, and customer feedback on delivery accuracy.
Traditional e-commerce platforms outperformed drop shopping platforms in terms of delivery timeliness and accuracy. However, drop shopping platforms showed competitive performance in customer satisfaction, suggesting that factors beyond delivery speed and accuracy may influence customer perceptions.
The findings indicate a clear difference in logistics performance between drop shopping and traditional e-commerce platforms. E-commerce platforms continue to lead in logistics efficiency, but drop shopping platforms could improve their delivery systems to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
